Fans of Alaskan Bush People mom Ami Brown might be surprised by her latest health status update — and by how old Ami Brown is going to be in just two days.
In regard to the status of Ami Brown’s illness, Alaskan Bush People dad Billy Bryan Brown said in a recent interview that his wife is in a lot of pain. According to Billy, Ami tries to hide her pain from others, but four to five times a day he can see her bend over in her bed like a baby and cry.
Billy Brown shared the latest update on the status of Ami’s illness. Ami’s stage 3B lung cancer is in the middle and sides of both lungs. In stage 4 lung cancer patients, the cancer has spread to other vital organs. In Ami’s lung cancer, is has not spread to any other organs like the stomach – or worse – the brain.
“It hasn’t traveled to any other organs,” says the devastated Alaskan Bush People patriarch, “but that’s what they’re saying is next.”
While Ami is trying to hold up her strength, Billy admits that ever since his wife was diagnosed with lung cancer, it has been nothing but bad news. “Any time we talk to anybody, it’s bad news,” Billy says.
How old is Ami Brown?
Billy’s wife, who is known to Alaskan Bush People fans simply as Ami, was born on August 28, 1963. She will be celebrating her 54th birthday in just a couple of days.
Ami’s full name is Amora Lee Branson Brown. According to Billy’s and Ami’s marriage certificate, the two got married on June 16, 1979, in Texas. At the time of her marriage, Ami was 15 years old.
When talking about Ami’s updated health status, Billy says that Ami gave him seven children and never complained about any pain. Now, with her lung cancer, his wife is being pushed to her limit.
Where is the Alaskan Bush People family now?
Billy, Ami, and their seven children have all relocated to Los Angeles where Ami is receiving radiation and chemotherapy for her lung cancer. When not at the UCLA hospital, the family members are staying at a 5-star Beverly Hills hotel.
While critics are having a field day with the Brown family living a luxurious life away from the Alaskan wilderness, compassionate fans care very little about the Brown’s current lifestyle.
What matters most to Alaskan Bush People fans and to the Brown family is Ami’s health status and receiving the latest updates. While the Brown family cannot respond directly to fans, Ami shared in her latest interview that she wants fans to know how much she appreciates all the prayers and best wishes.
